Changing Currents helps inform tribal water resource policy to ensure sustainable water supplies for tribal communities, protect water quality and quantity, and promote tribal self-determination in water management.

Looking to policy, to navigate our role in water protection, it leads Tribes and Native communities’ interactions with their sovereign water rights. To protect our waters, we must educate ourselves on the most current water policies that influence and dictate our role to stewardship and water protection. Changing Currents is interested in educating and providing a comprehensive and navigable platform for water leaders to understand water policy.
